    3 pieces with questions

    can you help me on Id's. what I think is a chipped celt, a black chipped digger,
    and a bone digger. am i way off/. thanks for any help. these were found in
    moniteau co. missouri on 6-13 with permission. take care and HH JYD...

    The Bone is a Deer Ulna or leg bone. They were used all the time as Awls like the ones in my pictures here, but I don't see any evidence of yours ever being used. Probably just part of a dinner.

    As for the other pieces, you may be right on both accounts.

    That last large piece of flint with the cross knapping and bulb on the end is a stellar artifact. You have been finding a bunch sir.

    thanks srv, I am probably wishing to much, but I do see some wear
    on it and whewe it was chopped looks like it was man made, but i supose
    that could of been cut like that when butchering for consuption. Thanks again.

    yes sir Tn. I agree on the digger being steller, could that stack on it be there
    to keep the dirt from building up on the piece? who knows!!! thanks man

    Nice looking artifacts Wes, the light colored piece has the look of a Dalton adze imo.
