    Shouldered points?

    I've got a question. Locally, many collectors I know call Adenas, Dicksons, Beavertails, etc, "shouldered points". Has anyone else heard them grouped together with that terminology before?

    that is a beautiful display of points. The colors really set off on top of the black back ground.

    Very nice collection. Missouri produces great looking points. Here all I can seem to find is boring old quartz and an occasional flint.

    Great group of shouldered ponts!Yes i have heard them grouped that way because they typically only have shoulders not barbs,and have no notches just a stem for a base.Thx for the look
    aint gonna find any heads sittin on the couch
