Killer Drill and some nice flint

Been a while since my last post... I really got busy. Found my first whole drill.
A few nice finds from the property I just bought here in central Texas. The single piece photos are from finds this last week. The group photo is all of the quality stuff I have found there since my first dig at this camp. Enjoy the photos.

Very cool drill and artifact finds. Looks like you have a very productive camp/dig site. Keep us posted with the finds. That drill is nice!!!!

Thank Y'all for the kind words. It has been so so hot here on our camp, diggin is brutal. :P We're trying to make a swimmin hole in the old spring pool where we dig and we can't get it done fast enough. The one good thing about the drought here is the lower Colorado river camps are all about to start producing again. Swimming and artichoke hunting are about to be brought back together. Happy hunting!

Very nice finds and the fact you found them on your property makes them even more special. I must say that your method of taking photos on a black surface sure does produce professional quality photos.

Thanks CF9, I got my black background from my wife. It is an in/out basket for a fancy office desk she found at a garage sale for $ 1.50 . I also like and use a purple wine bottle bag. A velvet texture kills all reflection. Lighting is critical for close up detail. A good camera also helps. Thanks again.
