I've got 3 of these as well. I wonder if it's possible that some of these were used like Bolo Stones on nets to bring down birds?

Thanks for posting these pics. I really like these types of artifacts. Do you have any stone sinkers where there is a hole drilled through it to attach the line?

maybe its possible that they tied the stones to a tether or string to their birds legs to keep them from flying away, but also lets them feed and wander! I always thought that was possible!
