This is the collection of my finds since I started hunting indian relics this year. It's not much but I hope to be adding to it. All of the scrapers, the two knives, and the banded slate bar weight were found on my property. Some of the points were too. I have been truly blessed to have good places to hunt.
Very nice collection you have going for just one year of hunting. Can I ask why everything is so shiny? You're not putting anything on your finds, are you?

No I just wiped them off with a wet towel before I put the in there. some of them still had dirt on them.
Okay, that's cool. It's just that I have seen some people put shellac or oils on them to make them shine and that will ruin the patina over time. A buddy of mine got some Points from his Father that had belonged to his Grandfather and he had shellaced all of them and they were a dingy black color from where the shellac had deteriorated. He had a really hard time cleaning them up with hurting the Points but he finally got the original colors of the flint to come back they were some beautiful pieces.

You're off to a great start, Hope it just gets better
Thanks Naturegirl. So do I. I have learned alot from the members of this sight. I am positive I have overlooked many artifacts while looking for just arrowheads. I kinda got a better idea of what I need to be looking for now.
I'd say you are off to a good start. I'd like to see another picture of the center piece. The flash got in the way. Maybe a close up?
Sure thing GaRebel. the center piece is a banded slate bar weight or atlatl weight. It is 4 inches long and has talley marks along the top edge all the way around. I have been told by an authenticator that to find one with talley marks is rare indeed. Here's your closeup.
