    Effigy from S.W. Georgia

I found this a while back in a lake in Sumter County Georgia while the water level was very low. It is made of pottery type material.

Cool find. How come you never show me these things in person? I won't steal them. I may "borrow" them for a long time.

Come on over some rainy weekend and we'll dig out all my stuff and look at it! I've been collecting rocks for 30+ years, got to be something good to see.

Tell ya what, next time the water gets low, I'll take to where I found it. Some other nice items were found there too. Might surprise you where I found this.

Indians were not ******s. There should be some resemblance of a human face.

No they were not retarted. What does that have to do with my effigy? The picture may not be clear enough to see that the object has two raised eyes, a raised nose and a chin.
