    Almost Time

Hi everyone. Haven't been artifact hunting since spring. This time of year it's Ginseng I'm hunting. Can't wait to start finding arrowheads again. I got my (larson)lucky Furry mojo stick out and ready. I really enjoy all the nice pieces you people have posted this summer. Thanks Tnet for being the best site on the net. Just wanted larson to know that I'm not dead yet. lol. I'm gonna find a banner piece this year. I can feel it.- Darrin

    Re: Almost Time

Not bad this year. Thought it would be a bad year due to no rain all summer. It caused em to dry up and die early so you almost can't see em already. I found about 16 lbs of wet root. That will dry up to about 4 pounds. Last year it was fetching almost 800 bucks a pound. It's a lot tougher walking hunting seng than arrowheads. I'm old and looking forward to nice flat field walking. lol.
