Hopewell Knife

Found this knife digging Friday evening (2 inches). The rind in the middle really makes the edge work stand out. I think I will keep this one in my frame.

Nice looking Point Keith. It's strange how they left the outer core on that side. Gives it character though.

Nice find,nothin wrong with some rind! lol ,i also have a hopewell point made of a dull white chert with a bit of the rind on each face,its a rough reddish brown colored rind ,ill have to get a pic if it up 4 ya.

Thanks for the replies. The other side is fire popped or something. I posted the other side on arrowheadology as requested. Its quite fotunate for this one that you can display only one side at a time. Of course you are always going to display the best side of anything. Thanks again.
