A few recent finds and in-situs. A black chert Stanly or Culpepper, a Lecroy, two broken Dalton like points, a Hardaway Dalton, ?, Hardaway, and some hardstone, a quartz dicoidal, a mano, a small greenstone pestle, and a nutting stone in clockwise direction. Jmo on types. HH
Here's a few more, missed out on in-situs on most of these, flipped them before taking a pic. Last two are pictures of the area I've been hunting. Washouts and erosion along a valley beside a creek and several natural springs.
Strong work T-7, very nice pieces. Classic nutting stone. Was the opposite side also dimpled?
Keep up the good work.
I've attached a nutting stone I happened onto last year. Notice that a portion of the edge is missing. The reverse side has a similar cavitation, perfectly center.

Doc
Thanks Doc. Yes that piece is pitted on both sides. " Perfectly center ", I've noticed that the majority I find are centered and balanced. Makes me think they were more likely pitted hammerstones. Jmo.
