Best day in months

Sad but true. Hasn't rain much, one mid section is the best I could come up with. I've hunted ~3 miles of this particular creek. I've found a total of 6 pieces this year. 4 were within 50' of each other. The other 2 were about a mile away and within 20' of each other. Is this normal?

Looks like that one would of been a nice piece at one point! I went to an antique store in southern Ohio yesterday and was looking for anything indian related and the old woman said she used to have lots of arrowheads that she gave to the kids that hung out on the corner for helping her move stuff! Her late husband used to find them in the crick/creek on "THEIR" property and put them in a basket out back. The basket was still there when we looked. I now have permission to search the crick!

Been a very rough year for me too. It was so dry this summer that I could hardly find anything in my favorite creek. Just not enough rain to shake things loose. Hoping next year will be better.

It has not been easy over here either ,yesterday i went to my field AFTER the corn was cut and AFTER it rained 3 whole days and i only found a small drill and i nice lil scraper,i figured id do much better,hell i did better when the corn was planted I guess its back to the rockshelter for me,at least till spring....

heartbreaker man. still a cool find. seems crick huntin is like a roller coaster, extrme highs sometimes, other days i would kill just to find a flake. fun ride though!!
