Today's Find

[River Rat]

Found in field next to the river...I was excited about finding this!!

Ok, I need help with the "sandstone" I don't find very many of these...I've been calling them sandstone due to the stone shape and the sandy texture. The only place I have found them is in the area of the Indian artifacts. Can you help me ID it?

Like the color on that point! As for the sandstone... can't help you there. I have sandstone formations around here (and bed rock) and all of it is a brownish...sandy... sandstone. Not sure what you have but cool.

Great find brother river rat! I to am a catfishing river rat. In fact I am a terrible artifact hunter and usually only do it when the cats are not biting or
when catching bait in the creek. I do love finding something though! Good luck in future hunts.
