    Re: Ohio hunting

Good advice no matter where you live to start off with is: Find any disturbed ground on a natural body of water and start there. (farmer's field on a river) more often than not you find stuff in these places and as you learn you can branch out to look for other likely places to "hunt".

    Re: Ohio hunting

i lived in Oxford Ohio for 50 yrs and found many points, mauls, axe heads.knifes.i always hunted near water! plowed fields ,corn fields are excelent after the corn gets up about 2' and rain will leave the points sticking out like on a small mound of dirt.if you can find a plowed field over looking water you will most likely find some.only problem now most farmers chissle plow and that breaks a lot of good points.good luck.
