    New artifact to my collection

I just aquired a large piece of pottery that came from a large collection that was found in 1935 by a man on his parcel of land. This piece was with some large axe heads, celts, pendants, and assortment of other tools that were found at the same site. I usually dont purchase artifacts but a $10.00 I couldnt walk away without the fragment. I was told this was just part of what was found at the site and the rest was in a musem in New Mexico. Im guessing that if part of collection is in New Mexico then thats where this pottery fragment probably came from, or close by. If anyone can identify by shape or incised lines where it may have originated or what tribe may have made it I would like to hear it.

I don't know a lot about it but it appears to be a corragated style fairly common out west, perhaps Hohokam, Anasazi? Somebody should be able to tell you on here, if not just watch ebay auctions on the old pre-historic corragated pieces that come up for sale on there. You will get a pretty good idea as to it's age, manufactrue, etc.
