    is this a tip






    and scrapper i think

    the arrowhead is broke in half(if its one) found in a frozen dug up field in spring valley ohio.
    if these dont work i will do it again

    I would say yes it is I have found many and the top looks like it comes to a point to /\ like what you have just my 2 cents

    Well, IMO it does looked worked, and it does appear to be a piece from something- I don't know if I would go so far as to say the tip of something but it's possible. If I had to guess I would say a piece to a blade of some sort or a general purpose tool. Perhaps the by-product of trying to make a blade and there was an "ooops" involved but the remaining pieces still could have served useful purposes.

    Appears to be a worked spall. You can see the rind left on the dorsal surface, but it's not cleaned off. The other side (ventral) looks like they started forming something, but then quit before finishing. From the pic it looks like you could accurately call it a preform or flake tool....sure doesn't appear finished.
