    Epps point!

    Hey everyone,
I walked a small creek down the road from my house yesterday and this is what I found. It's called an Epps point, and you can really see the Table Rock influence in the base. Thanks for looking and Yes it was very cold. LOL!

Nice find Andy... yep, your hand is looking a bit chilly there. We hit about 10 degrees in NH today... wish we had such great finds in our creeks around here. -Ben

    Andy,

Ever consider using a "Golpher"/"E-Z Reacher" to get the points out of the cold water? I don't think I would like dipping my fingers in freezing water.

    Hey River Rat,
Yeah I have thought about it, but my luck I drop the point and break it before I got it into my hands. LOL!

    Re: Epps point!

    Morning,

You let me see a good point laying in the distance and I would walk barefoot over hot coals to get it...LOL
Or as I have done in the past, bog off into waist deep mud. Reachers are a possibility though if you dont feel like throwing caution to the wind.
