    Meaning it was used for show in rituals / dances and not actually used.
    But now I'm thinking they would use a prettier stone for that...

    Morning,

    Nice points! The "hammer stone" you have is a bit of a puzzle. It appears to be "axelike" in that there are 'grooves' on each side, though they don't appear lined up with one another. It also appears to be a soft sand stone type rock. Though the deeper groove isn't completely uniform, it is possible it might be some sort of shaft straightener, though that is only a guess. Nice finds all around though.

    i haved been ponded by snow this month it sucks.
    i found a new field then the next day snow so far all month.
