Oglethrope Madison co area GA

Hi, i am from Madison co Ga and am new here.
My hubbie and i have a place out in Oglethrope co that we like to go to do some amature astronomy. anyways we were at this place when i found a point. I have been searching on the net to see what or how old it is. I will post a pic asap, in the mean time i am wondering if u all know of some types found in this area? It is def chert and broken with same patina all over, its measurments as follows...2" long tip to break..1" 3 fourths wide side to side...15 mm thick, it is notched at the tip . it does not have serrated edges and is rather rough but definatly man made very cool. anyway thanks and happy hunting

Astronomy right on I also dabble in that area,Have 2 scopes.
