yesss!! snow is melting

well i went out to my field for the first time in 5 weeks cause of all the snow we had, and i found this little guy in the slushy field.(hafted scrapper)

Nice find Trevmma! I've got it so bad that I started looking through my scrap pile in my yard to see if I had thrown something out that was decent. It gives me something to do, plus it drives my wife crazy!

I spoke to the owner of my Grandfather's old farm tonight. He said that he is going to start plowing the first week of April. Let the countdown begin!

yeah it feels heaven sent, i have been waiting 5 weeks to take a step in the field, but we have had at least a foot of snow. it has shown no sign of leaving untill today, tomorrow will be perfect, the cool and weird thing is that tomm. is my birthday, talk about a cheap gift, just let me go point hunting and i will be happy.

Amen to that! Sometimes when I take a day off during the week, my wife will ask me what I am going to do for the day. I tell her that I am going to go walk a field. She just rolls her eyes and shakes her head. I have told her that it is the most relaxing thing that I can do.

I hear that my friend. That field is my favorite place to be in the world. Sometimes I think I can hear an Indian drum or two... I'm headed up there tomorrow and i promise some insitu pics. Good luck with those fields my friends!~
