Very nice!!!! I would carry a dollar bill and a quarter or half dollar with you to lay next to the in situ artifact to show size while still in the ground. Just a thought.

Your doing pretty good so far this year! I am going to try and make it on the 11th but wont know until it gets closer. I may have to work but I believe we will be doing the work the next weekend so I hope to be OK.

LOVE the insitu shots..keep them a com'n!!!! Looks like a mud bog out there but with that kind of artifact concentration I would be out there to!

Definitely Cannonman,
Luckily the permafrost layer had returned and I was only in about 2 inches of mud before I hit frozen ground. Unlike last weekend when in some spots I was easily in 12-14 inches of liquid earth.... Fun times!
Hope you have a chance to get out soon!
Good luck my friend.

Yeah, mud or not I can't wait to get out, too bad there's still so much snow here, some of the drifts are three feet+ deep...it will be several weeks before I can get out and when I do it's going to be messy out there but seeing your insitu shots has got me ready to go!!!!!
