Any ideas?

Hi all,
I've never been relic hunting,but want to give it a shot.I live in SE Pa and according to history this area was populated by a tribe of Delaware indians known as "OKAHOKI"...other then that the only other thing I know about them is they flourished along 2 creeks in my area.Now I've been to both of these streams a million times fishing,I've searched around looking for hooks,weights and lures that people dropped(hey free is free) but have never come across any relics. Has anyone ever hunted in Delaware county? and did I not find anything in the past because I wasn't specifically looking for it? I'm not looking to find every arrow head ever crafted,just 1 nice one and that will make it all worth while.I will also be bringing my MD to these creeks because when I was younger and on my lure hunt I came across a broken grave stone lying in shallow water and lifted it up....under it sitting on top of a rock was an Indian head penny from the late 1800s that looked like someone took it right from the mint and sat it on the stone. So in essence I want to kill 2 birds with one stone....any suggestions?

It is certainly a great hobby to go along with others, In my area, I hunt the high ground(above flood plain), Look for flint chips, They will tell you when you are in a campsite, or work area.
In some rivers with gravel bars, that is a good place also.

yeah fossis is right look for flakes or chips and if you find any your probably on the right track, and good luck stopping after one. patience is key. good luck
