Axes, Hoes, Celts, & grinding Stone
Here are more of my 30 year Collection,
Grooved axes, large one from southern Indiana, some of my wife's folks were killed by Shawnee Indians, (Scott co), there is a large monument, called (pigeon roost) about 13 young people killed, before a man fought them off. not sure of the date.
the others are probably Caddo from OK & AR.
Celts, grooved axes, stemmed hoe (notice wear on end), & large hoe with wear on both ends.
Grinding stone & bowl were also local finds, plus chipped axes, white one from Mo. Fossis......................

yeah that celt is impressive, I also like the bowl, how far did you have to carry it? I do alot of beach walking, sometimes for miles, and found one that must have weighed 30 lbs. talk about a trek

Morning,
Excellent collection of polished hardstone and chipped stone artifacts.....love the "bowtie" pieces. Axes are very rare in Louisiana...wish I could find more here. You have indeed done well "young jedi."

The Bowl was purchased from an old timer, the stone , I found near where the bowl was found.
I once carried one, with help from a friend, about a half mile.

Thanks, I waded mud ankle deep, where they were dozing for a park site, the stemmed hoe was in a pile of dirt(unscathed)
The large hoe was given to me by the man who owned the land where
the (big Tree) is located, on my post with Grandkids. Fossis.........

I carried one about 1/3 of a mile down some good old Illinois bluffs. Trips like those help you appreciate your finds a little more . Very nice finds again Fossis. and thank you so much for sharing with us.
