found three today

These were all found today at a new site in Early county Georgia. There were footprints everywhere but I managed to find three. Is the center point a preform or is that just the way it was made?

Don't know a whole lot, but it is probably a knife blade.

Hey Bedwards! Nice finds. Don't worry about footprints, I've found points inside of bootprints before. You'd be surprised how many are missed in the fields. Keep on walking it. I would even try walking the field in a different direction than the footprints (walk it crossways). Any rain at all will wash away the soil a little more.

Very nice finds my friend.

We once had someone sneak onto our field and walk the whole thing up and down. I don't think he was much of an artifact hunter because as i was following his tracks i found 2 nice blades and 4 birdpoints.

Lol, thanks to the crow!!!....I have found good ones right beside footprints also. Sometimes you think they were blind or just out to do some walking and had no clue what they could have found.
