Thank you both. They are my treasure, completely priceless. All were found by me at construction sites on the surface.

Re: A few of my finds from Pasco County Florida
Thank you all of you for your complements. Almost all are made from petrified coral. I wish the digital camera was better to show you better detail. The white spear point in the 8th and 9th picture was only half finished. But again the picture doesn't show the beautiful detail. Also, the white one to the far left of the first picture has serrations and is absolutely beautiful. The three Hernando points (the triangle shaped ones that are a cream color) were found in the same general area, like always close to where people were walking. When I get a better camera I will try to get some more detailed shots. Thank you again.

Re: A few of my finds from Pasco County Florida
Thank you. Most are from River Ridge, River Crossings (Little Road), Green Key, and around New Port Richey. I found them when they would clear off a lot of land to start putting in streets and building houses. All of these areas are homes now.

Re: A few of my finds from Pasco County Florida
SWR, thank you for answering my questions at the end of last year about the treasure coast.
I haven't been in the New Tampa area lately. I am thinking of going over there with my son this weekend just to check it out. The only thing is I hate it when you go to an area and see that big sign that says WARNING THIS IS A DESIGNATED CONSTRUCTION AREA ......... In the past they used to clear an area and pretty much let anyone walk it. I know now that it is a liability issue and the problem with individuals that try to steal building materials. In the past when we would go to an area the construction workers would even tell me where they had seen stuff on the surface.
It is a beautiful hobby that doesn't hurt anyone, just picking up items on the surface that would be destroyed anyway. It is preserving the past.

What a beautiful collection! And I agree- a hobby that doesn't hurt anyone- finding things of rare beauty which would otherwise be destroyed. Aren't we lucky! WTG!
Thank you, God, for this good day. Wonder what the sea spits out today!

Re: A few of my finds from Pasco County Florida
I have looked for Shipwrecks, panned for gold in the Carribean, detected Rev. war sites, Civil war sites, Found loads of gold rings detecting, But for me, nothing comes close to finding a Arrowhead !!!!! The fact that I am the first person to touch this stone in hundreds of years. What did the maker look like? Where did the flint come from? What year was it made? I always say if these stones could only speak.

Re: A few of my finds from Pasco County Florida
Really nice stuff. Love those Hernando's and the point with the snapped base made of BayBottom chert. If you have more please post it. A lot of Florida points are river stained but the real beauty is those land finds like yours with the heat treated Coral.
