Hey all. It rained a bit last night. But it is too damned hot for more than an hour of hunting. I took a local coin collecter with me and he found the small peice of pottery and the hammerstone in the below photo.(he didn't want to keep them) I found the rest. One nice peice of incised pottery.

I agree Razor. I think he is more of what I call a glory hunter. Meaning he wants the whole points and not pieces. Oh well!!!LOL

Nice finds. I've hunted with people who would not pick up scrapers, drills, and definitetly not broken pieces. They drove me nuts when they would tell me about the drills and scrapers they left behind! I was lucky enough to be close to one of them when he found a nice metate. He was going to throw it out into a nearby creek when I grabbed it and took it to my truck.
