Hi all ,we had a down pour during fireworks on fourth. Just what we needed! My 12 yr. old son and I went back to site I found 6/24. WE were ten feet into field when my boy hollered to me he had found something. Low and behold he had found a nice triangular knife. We then went to another field closer to river and I found a nice one as well! I,m going to take him with me more often. Ohio river hunter & Little river hunter
Nice! The material looks similar to what we call Prairie Du Chien Chert here in Wisconsin.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well preserved body, But rather to slide in sideways, Totally wore out shouting, Holy ****...What a ride!
Nice finds, you're lucky your son takes an interest. It's a great way to spend time together.I never got into looking for heads until I was into my 40's and by then my son was more interested in girls & cars. Now he's married with a child of his own and doesn't have the time to go. I showed my granddaughter some of my heads and she got all excited, so maybe I can teach her what my father taught me. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Good luck hunting, Jim
At first it was just about the artifacts, now it about the history behind the artifacts!!
