Cave find cant identify. Possible bird efagy?????

It is 6 inches tall.5 inches across head? Very rounded head and body.Inside hollow like bone, but filled in with limestone. covered mostly with some kind of pottery type material.Inside is mostly chert.thanks Ray

Difficult to say...the last photo looks almost like some sort of fossilized antler. In south Texas you find geofacts that look something like that...a softer material over a harder chert type stone....you can make some nice arrowheads out of it I am told.....many have brought me some thinking it was fossilized deer antlers. Interesting stuff.
