still breaks my heart
what was this point it had ears that where broke off that looked to be pretty good size, its 3 inches broken. drives me nuts to think someone has the other half, lol. the color is so awesome.

Or, it was broke by the plow, and the other piece is laying near where it was found.

Can you get back to the spot where you found it? if so, make a small (12" x 12") sifter and start sifting dirt, who knows, you just might find the tip.

Yep, they do break your heart. That's why I feel it is necessary to pick up everything. It's possible to find the missing piece. I have one that was found inside a cow's imprint. It was broken, but it was there...I have since glued it together for my display.
