    First Arrowhead I ever found

Found this one in 1986 very near my house in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have had the treasure bug ever since. 3 3/4" long and probably in the Hopewell Culture family.

Re: First Arrowhead I ever found

Nice point Jon, sure wish I still had mine. I found my first one when I was young and carried it around as a good luck charm. Took it everywhere with me. One day at school I took it out and was playing with it..dropped it, broke it. I was pretty bummed over that, but it gave me the bug that's lasted a lifetime.

    Thanks for all the responses.

Has there been any better? Yes and no. I have found points that others would classify as better, but it is my personal favorite. I was going to start posting finds slowly over time to introduce myself to this venue.

Matt Rowe- I carried that point with me throughout my childhood also. When I started driving, I kept it in my ashtray. I can remember taking it on family trips also. I never broke it(lucky). Now it resides under glass. Good to see you on this forum.
