    Cache Blade?

I went looking for arrowheads last weekend with Undertaker. As soon as we entered the cornfield I found a large unfinished blade. I think they call them cache blades. They were left in the last stage of being made when they buried it with others until needed. The head was thin and chipped on both sides, but lack of fine edge chipping tells me it was an unfinished piece. I've read where these blades were found buried in numbers and stacked in ways where they wouldn't break. Next trip I'll check for more since most of this blade was buried. Good luck hunting! Jim

At first it was just about the artifacts, now it about the history behind the artifacts!!

    Nice piece you got there.
