A different kind of indian artifact

I guess I could have posted this find in a different catagory, but I did find flint as well. I decided to check a farm near my home that I've permission to hunt. Unfortunately it was all very thick with corn stuble, all of it except about twenty or thirty acres on the opposite side of the creek.I decided to check it out .My hopes weren't high(this field barely contains any rocks and I've never seen flint in it). After about a half hour I spotted the coin below.

I field cleaned it and was surprised to see it was an indian head penny with a very clear date of 1858.With new vigor I continued my search and was rewarded with a nice serrated point of Coshocton flint, unfotunately it was broken at the haft. I've decided not to clean the penny much, the date is clear and I don't want to rub off what little detail it has.

The broken point is very similiar to a corner notch I found on the other side of the creek last year. (pictured below)I plan to return tomorrow after work to do a more comprehensive search of this newly respected spot.

Nice that self portrait looks doctored though
    It's addicting, but it's pleasing!
