    Another Indian rock.

Possibly a broken drill? It's made sort of off center. I found this right on the ground, flat. In maybe 3 foot tall weeds so I feel like I was SUPPOSED to find this little guy. This is the second Indian rock I have found on that property, both shaped and made the same wade. Same material, possibly the same guy lost them on the same hunt who knows?
Anyway, my newest addition to the collection, the second new addition this month.

Shame it's broke. It's a Savanah River. I have one simular. Rhyolite. Late Archaic.

    Re: Another Indian rock.

Whoa! Are you telling me that that lil guy has been on that hill for 3000 years?
As far as my quick search tells me, the Archaic Period is 8000bc--1000bc.

If thats the case I need to seriously start posting more of my collection because this isn't even a decent one.

Yes do. I'm in NC too, I'm interested to see what types you have found.
