Hello all.. been quite a while since I posted anything, but these are the first artifacts this year!
Larger white one with small amount of tip broke found in a field I am Metal Detecting, The narrow orangish swirled was a river rock find. Strange thing about that one is a man came to the river edge where my mom and I were, and was talking about artifacts he has found. When he left I spotted it right where he was standing funny. The small white one and wide creamish white were found in a field.
Our unit was staying at a church, and house next to it because of being activated for flood duty in Iowa.
I will post some pics of the points, along with the flood duty area, also found a celt in the house I was staying in at the time,it was on the bathroom floor used as a door stop
I want to start a new life with my valuable hunting knife.

Re: My latest points
Congrats on the finds! Not to shabby at all! You and your comrades should be commended for the valuable work you are doing there. That is really a great thing!
Thanks
Chuck

Thanks for replies.. yeah not bad two of them came from behind the Church. A lot of people in bad shape from flooding,I was activated from the twelfth of June to the 26 of June then I volunteered for extra duty up to the 3rd of July,so been busy along the Mississippi,Iowa, and Des Moines rivers watching levies, patrolling and so forth.
I know a guy who found an Axe at an old country store out in the middle of nowhere that was being used to hold the front door open. He asked the store owner about it they guy him it was just an old Indian rock and sold it to him for practically nothing. Some guys have all the luck.
"Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends."
Thanks for backing me. When we left I should have asked her about the Celt. They were in the process of moving,so I don't even know if they realized what it was? I imagine they did,but who knows. This fall I plan on returning to hunt the area again.
Here is the Celt it was good sized, black and grey in color,a nice one for sure talk later..
