    Cave Creek

    Anyone every prospect around Camp Creek or Seven Springs Wash (NE of Cave Creek) with any luck? I'm up in Fountain Hills for a bit and hoping for find somewhere close for some prospecting.

    yea, I found what was left of an old leach field north of CC and South of 7 Springs to the west. you need to go further west to get to the placer, even in north CC.......nothing, it was all hard rock from deep within the mountain. go try the Table meas area.....nice color out there.

    Careful in the Table Mesa area....

    many people (my self included) shoot out there.

    i had some friends ho used to detect along the aqua fria...
    north of Gillette{private owned ruins}, and south of black canyon city.
    ...look for that blue shale...

    Don't worry Cachefinder, I do also. As a matter of fact its time for another Gun Show. Not the over priced Crossroads but one in Wickenburg.

    I realize that everyone in the State of Arizona knows that!
    One does not!
    Use The Saguaro Cactus as a "target"!
    BUT!
    This is to let the "Winter Visitors", who might not know, That The Saguaro Cactus is a

    VERY! PROTECTED SPECIES

    It requires HUNDREDS of TOUGH & HARD! Years to grow!

    Are you basing this comment on the fact that a Saguaro Cactus is in the same picture as people with guns? Looks to me the actual target is out of the frame. Probably should have been included.

    Please correct me if I am wrong, or did I miss something from an earlier post?

    In my picture above we are not shooting at any cactus.

    we have targets set up,
    and a mountain base as our backdrop.

    No Vegetation at all was harmed during this outing!

    ...look for that blue shale..."

    there is blue shale at the horse shoe bend bypass.....what is in the shale? all the dirt that is red with rounded rock holds good gold.....what is in the shale? are you looking for a quartz stringer in the shale?

    I really don't know about you guys,
    BUT!
    In my "travels" tru the Sonorian Desert
    I have seen many a "Saguaro"!
    wearing "Bullet Holes "!
    So!
    Apparently,
    SOMEONE! Out there isn't aware of this !

    Hey boogeyman re-read cptbils first he said out of staters never said the ones in the picture were shooting at cacti.

    there were some teenagers a few years ago...shooting at saguaro...fool kid is pumping rounds from a shotgun into this old saguaro......reports are he screamed timber just prior to this gigantic cactus squishing him flat as it fell...

    just rewards.
