Lobsters, and Maple Syrup to trade...

Hey everyone, I'm coming from NH to vist a friend that lives in Prescott the last week in April. Of course I'm bringing my MXT as I dont leave home without it. I would like to try my luck at nugget shooting, I'm looking for a buddy or buddies to go with. This being my first time in Arizona, I dont want to be alone in the dessert with snakes that kill you and people who shoot you for hunting thier claim. I am trying to make this an inexpensive trip, so I can help pay for gas and Im offering to trade lobster, maple syrup or any other New England treasure you may be intrested in just let me know. You can email me at crmarconi@aol.com

    Thanks,

    Young Gun

    Sure!
    A Rattlesnake's bite can kill a person
    But!
It happens so rarely, that I haven't heard of a death
    For 20-30 yrs
    AND!
    I HAVE ! and I DO !
Go Out for weeks/months at a time
    (By myself/alone)
Except for one of my dogs being along
All you have to do is pay attention, watch where you step (Loose rocks & snakes)
& keep you Eyes & Ears open
In all of the years (yrs=actually, longer than some people are OLD) that I have "been out",
    I haven't had one rattlesnake make a "strike" !

    &! Yes!
I have come across many of them!
I DO NOT! Bother them in ANY WAY!
    Other, than
    I may take a picture...
    But!
Normally, I will just walk around them !
    FOR! After All!
    I am in their backyard!

    Yep!
In "snake" country, it's a good idea
The Bradshaw Mnts are home to The (Black) Mojave/Mohave Rattlesnake
They are many times (4-6x's) more potent than a regular "Rattler"
    BUT!
My last "brush" with a rattler, was in The Bradshaws and was, with a Mohave!
    He just "Buzzed"
    Me'n Bugs, side stepped him
    When we were clear !
I took a few photos of him
He uncoiled and went his way !
