Detector(s) used
Red Baron RB-7 (inherited from my Gramps, never used) Parents used to take us out detecting in mid-1970's--fun times! Caught the bug early, reignited here in OK.
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
And, that said, I do agree with MSWARBRICK 100% when it comes to historic (post-contact) stuff! I have a bit more trouble drawing the line when it comes to pre-contact, paleolithic stuff, however. I'm a keen point hunter, myself, here in OK. But, I've also worked with Indian Tribes in So Cal where remains are unearthed during site grading at new land developments. Some times Tribes can seem overly gungho with the "small" stuff (fire rings, debitage piles, a couple slicks), but when it comes to remains....Well, you'd probably be intensely concerned over the issue if it were your great-great-grand parents that were being dug up! ??? Just sayin'....
