Gold Nugget hunting in Tucson?

I am going to be in Tucson for a week in October and was hoping somebody could take me out to test out my Xterra-70's ability to find gold nuggets. If I can tag along it would be great, I am their for a conference and can only go hunting in the evenings.

If you can't find anyone in the area, you might try checking on a club in the area, if you join one they can at least point you in the right direction.
