    I live in Vail but am trying to find somewhere to detect out your way. I'm reletively new to detecting and was just curious as to cochise county laws. In pima county, all county property is "no detecting". Looking for hunting buddies to go detecting (lawfully). Thanks for the info, I think I've been to that site before but I'll check it out again.

    I believe that BLM land is off limits but there are other places such as the old railrod track coming out of wilcox, where they blew up an old train car that had gold coin all were found but 1000 coins.
