Here is what I dug last year for silver coin ... nothing was deeper than 5 inches and my oldest buff a 26.

These coins came from an old ASU research and experimental farm land.

Nice coin finds. I'm still searching for my first silver coin. Wonder how many clads I'm gonna have to dig before I get my first silver?(I'm keeping track). Anybody wanna share how many clads they had to dig before they found their first silver?

I believe I found less than 5.00 dollars clad off this field before I hit a first silver dime .... what tipped me off was that I found 4 or 5 wheat's first before any silver coin. If there are wheat's around there is a good possibility for silver.
