I would imagine occasionally Hobos Lost or Hid stuff then got Rousted & thrown out of Town

In Eugene Block's Great Train Robberies of the West there's a story about a hobo finding the loot from a - well, you guessed it! - a train robbery.

And don't forget - there is a difference between a hobo and a tramp or bum.

I would think all the floods over the years and all the development has buried and or removed pretty much everything of interest.
