Traveling N Hwy 95,I10, (Quartsite)looking for gold, dry?

In a week or so I will be traveling North up hwy 95 and would like to get the metal det. to help pay for some of this outragiously expensive gas. Gold would be my first choice. Maybe some one could aim me in the right direction, so I don't make any mistakes, and be somewhere I am not supose to be. Just paning, no sluce, and yes I have a detector. GPS cords are just right for me, it does make life easer, and accurate as hell.

There's an active club in Q with claims and lots of nice people to help you get started, friends at the RV park were getting at least a small nugget a day on the claims w/ MD or drywashers, dues were $15 year, the guys at the Gold Miser store on 95 can refer you to them.
I know it's an old post, just FYI for any new visitors.
