    Hey! Buck:
I know that my memory isn't the best in the west

    And!
    You've have stated several times that I am/was a "No Show" ??
    SORRY!
    But!
I can't remember ever posting you that I'd meet you anywhere, for anything @ anytime!
As far as being an "No Show" !
    As you have also mentioned
If you'd ask "Blackfoot" where I was last March at about this time,
I am sure that he'll verify that I and a friend of mine, from CO.
were over in New Mexico, at a site of his, in a canyon North of Alamogordo
    And!
If you asked him, he'll also beable to verify that I was camped with him, right after the canyon in NM Site/Trip,
In The Bradshaw Mnts until he had to pack up and leave !
As I have mentioned, I sure wont say that I remember everything....
And I can only blame it on,
    &
It could be a symptom of the case of (40%) PTSD,
That, I have, from being in Vietnam for those 900 days (30 months)
I spent there as a member of
The 2dBn 4th Marines as an FO & Plt Sgt!
    So!
    If you'd be so kind
As to list where the "posts" are, on the Forum", that/where I mentioned meeting you, for anything & any time,
And I can go to & see them to read them ??
That'll allow me to refresh my memory :P
    Thanks
    Cptbil & Bugs
    Oh!
Just in case you might be wondering...
The Title of "Captain" is not one that I have made up
    It's REAL!
I have The "Commission" hanging on my wall right now!
I was commissioned a "Captian" by our present "CIC" aka President Bush!
That much I DO ! Remember

    BUCK!
1....Doc has had to return to Fla to take care of some legal matters
Why don't you email him and ask where he is!
2....I am sure that you realize that you just don't throw a sleeping bag into you vehicle !!!!
    BUT!
Do you have ANY! idea of the kind of details that HAVE TO BE worked out, before you go on a 12 Month long trip?
Well! I do, This is not my first 12+ month long trip !
Right now, the camshaft for my Jeep is sitting here in my shop and a new one plus bearings, & when I get the bearings out, are ready to go back in!
Along with a new timing chain set, etc !!
    BUT!
I may have to pull the engine, a nice big/heavy 360 V8, to get it done
That's a pretty good chore for one person don't you think ?
As you know, things don't always work out like they're supposed to?

Do you ever stop working on that Jeep? Last year before your "big trip" you were installing overdrive in the tranny.

    Djui5:
Well! ~ Since I put the overdrive unit in
The Price of gasoline has gone up & up & up!
The Edelbrock Cam that I am putting in will increase the low end torque & power
    Plus give me better MPG!
    Then too!
I also, have the Hydrogen Generator (more MPGs) that is also sitting here waitting it's turn to be installed!
    But!
The main reason I continually work on it is, in the 14 yrs of 4x4'ing I have had only one break down!
    And!
    That was entirely my fault!
I had been planning to replace the ignition module for over a year and just never got around to doing it
Then, as I was coming out of the mnts, near "Ruby", just turning onto the road to Arivaca, the engine QUIT!!
I knew w/o thinking what had happened...The module went!
    Once! is/was enough!
    Never again!
And since this trip is going to be a year long or so!
I wont have the time to do much work!
I have also been replacing all 6 tires ( I have two spares)
And installing a new HD Battery and replacing the stock starter with, A! MEAN GREEN STARTER

    BUCK!

    As to your above post....
Did I need a wheelchair or was I feeble minded when I met you at the restaurant in Phoenix?

    You also asked:
Why am I taking a "Doc" along with me?
"Doc", my partner, just so happens to be a Vietnam Vet who was also a "Corpsman" !
    No other reason!
    AND!
I just took an college entrance exam
I am planning to take some courses at the local college... a Professional Course
My entrance scores 246 out of a possible 250
The IQ test came out 144 !
    So!
    I am hardly "Feeble Minded"
    In fact!
During my Military years (3o) I was 134 (tested 3x's)
    So!
It has increased by 10 points
I'm Getting smarter by the years!

    BUCK:
I have some very prudent information on The Lost Pick Mine
1..That can only be accessed by someone right there in Phoenix !
2.. I'll be flying over the "suspect" area and check out this information

    Care to cooperate on this?
I can provide the airplane, (one of two) you provide "Gas" Money ??

Either way, with this information, "Doc & I", are , because we're also headed for The Bradshaws,
more than likely, going to see, because it is directly east, miles east
    But!
Still, East, of Our Bradshaw Test Site !
    So!
We'll turn right instead of left and we'll go over there to see !
