looking for someone to hunt coins and arrowheads anyone interested?

I will be in Hot Springs, May 11-14 and would love to get to go hunting for anything. My wife has a law enforcement school conference that week. We will be up at the Arlington. I had thought to bring my metal detector and hopefull find some old timers to reveal the locations of some old parks or swimming holes away from the national park status.

Good luck - they all seem to be state owned and/or historic and off limits (at least this is what I'm told).
The two places I want to go most are the small park near fountain street and whittington park. i'm told both are off limits to metal detecting. Makes me sad. LOL

Anyone know of good Hot Springs stories or places that aren't 'off limits' ?
