    Newbe to Prospecting

    I am wanting to try my luck at prospecting for gold. I am interested in the Ouachita Mountains in Western Arkansas. Could anyone give me some hints on where to go. I am taking a 70 year old uncle from Little Rock, AR that has cancer and he has always wanted to try gold prospecting.

    I saw your post and no replies ( can't have that)..Sorry I'm from Ar. just don't know didly about prospecting . Hate to hear about your uncle. Tell him to fight the good fight and good luck you two on your adventure.

    there are posts on here somewhere....about the gpaa i think....gold prospectors of america....they have chapters in arkansas...and do find some gold...hope someone will post some links
