Picked this oil painting up at the Salvation Army yesterday for $4.99. Appears to date from the mid to late 1800's. May have a bit of restoration to it, putting it under the blacklight tomorrow. Glass seems to be original to the frame, it contains a few air bubbles. Anyone know the building or seen the artist's signature before? Any info would be helpful.

Hi HH, Mileaway here, I know you've put this thing back in the dust closet for now but if you be interested in parting with it I would be interested in discussing buying it. Let me know if you would. An email or PM would be fine.

Dang you might even double your investment! lol

Thanks, M :icon_pirat:

In case anyone(those pesky Negative Nosey-Nellies) is worried I know something more than what I've already told HH, I do NOT. My interest in this painting is "only" because it fits into my personal interests of the Missions. Not unlike someones interest in pictures of Rocks,Birds or Sandcrabs. :icon_scratch:to each his own.

Just curious, why would you say it's from the mid to late 1800's ? What does the back look like?
