need help asap Deigo Rivera

I was at the goodwill today an seen a Chalk drawing by Diego Rivera...I need to know how to tell if it's the real thing or a copy... Going in the morning to see if it's still there... thanks!

Deigo Rivera, an artist of note...

Is it under glass or can it be touched...

Take a magnifying glass and see if its composed of a series of dots...if so, its a lithograph and not an original...if its a numbered series, and in good condition, it may be worth a risk...if it shows staining from acid paper...it may be questionable as to being repairable...

Thank you for your help... I went this morning an took the back board of the frame off an there was a peice of paper in there that said it was a reproduction of a deigo rivera... I will use the advise you gave me for furture finds... if your knoweledgeable enough please pm all the trade secerts to distigshing a real artist painting from a reproduction thank you once again
