W Hay - British Artist ?

Need help in id'ing this artist. Looks like W Hay, cannot find any thing referring to this name. Oil on artist board showing what I believe is veteran oak trees. Painting came from England, any help is appreciated....Thanks in advance to all....

Thanks Don,,,, If only I could be so lucky..... I found one painting that the signature was readable and this one is not close Nay's however I will keep researching that name as one never knows...Thanks again...

Anything on the back that might give you a clue--like the seller's label?

No nothing, just the artist board as shown in the last picture.. They came unframed so I assume that when they were framed there's a better than good chance the artist is unknown. The seller didn't know much about the art as they were selling items from an estate..

Hello C5, odd that I've an old painting on canvas of a Brook under a bridge....with a worn signature that resembles yours (I think).
On the canvas back the only thing I can make out is 'Winsson?..Winsor'?..etc..... England.
Could send a pic if you like.
