Excellent and unique!!! My hat (if I wore one) is off to you! I really like this idea.

Do you make these to sell? I would imagine it is slow work. For Christmas gifts I used to get jewelry boxes, was particular about the boxes I bought. And I'd buy bags of old coins, and place them in the jewelry boxes. Treasure chests :)

I make these boxes just for something to when bored.also a good way to display treasure.

Treasure box is done just needs a clear polyurathane Finnish and it's on to the next one.
