Learn the fine art of sketching in pen, pencil, combined with charcoal shading. Benjamin Netanyahu as the subject, capturing the most stressful moment expression, the black & white portrait technique for preserving world leader faces in times of crisis. Lessons take you through the basics of getting started, all the way to finishing up your sketch portrait. Most important is watching the actual artwork being done in real-time. Don't expect to learn it overnight, it takes a lot of research and hard work to produce fine art. Here pen, pencil, and charcoal were used without any workable fixative during the process. Art is to be fun and relaxing, to communicate one's own inner feeling, creating a time capsule of a present reality. The voice of the artist, should be detected or the message of a project heard. Identify what motivated you to produce a particular work of art. It should be a reflection of your own inner world. If a person enjoys sketching and they want to become a good artist, strive for quality rather than quantity would be my advice.
