Never forget this, you'll never read an archeological find story the same again, lol!- When an archeologist has absolutely NO CLUE what an object is, it is "of religeous signifigance"

LOL! How TRUE! Even such places as Stonehenge are described as "temples" yet it displays features of a fortification, but we are supposed to just ignore those dirty little secrets and swallow the "religious" theory for every find they cannot explain. When I see "temple" or "religious artifact" written by the "experts" I immediately have doubts as this IS how they explain everything they have NO idea what it was for.

I can almost imagine archaeologists say three thousand years from now, finding human remains from our time, with a state quarter - I can hear them now, "Why this must be their god Washington on one side, a culture-hero who became a god after he died, see it even says 'in God we trust' right next to his image! That PROVES the round metal discs were of great religious significance!" (haha!)

Well Guys!
It is now, and was found out, a few years back,
A FACT!
NOW! A PROVEN FACT!
That the Celts, Phoenicians, Israel & Iberians, were all here, in the West, about 2500 yrs ago!
That's 2000 yrs, before Columbus !
Also, Were, The Vikings !
They, Were mostly limited to the Eastern U.S.
Although, there is a Viking Site in Oklahoma...

Hi Cpt Bill!

Those Vikings may have wandered even farther west too - there is a tribe of Indios on the west (Pacific) coast of Mexico known as the Mayos - they often have blue eyes and blonde hair! That is a recorded historical fact too, not the result of recent intermarriages, they were blue eyed and fair haired when first discovered by Europeans (Spanish).

There is also that strange tale of a ship in the desert...another long story on some other threads here, but some folks were convinced that there was a Norse ship in the California desert.

You know the Norse in Vinland and Greenland are quite a mystery. Where did they go? Vinland was important enough to have a Bishop sent there, and Greenland's Vikings simply vanished into thin air! No one knows where they went! Is it inconceivable that they might have gone west?

Re: CPTBIL's mention of Aztec pictographs in SE Arizona

All I have to say
First white child born in Idaho was Eliza Spalding who was born at Lapwai in 1847
if Kincaid was born near the same time or earlier, he must have been in great shape for an old man.

anyway an interesting web page on possible cave location is at http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/esp_orionzone_9.htm

the 1909 article describes the find as being of oriental origin, possibly from Egypt
And although Kincaid I think might recognize hieroglyphic works like the popol vuh as being Mayan
I think Kincaid (if he existed) is guilty of being eurocentric in dismissing the possibility of a native American origin.
its still a strong possibility that the caves (if they exist) were a lost colony from south America
There is evidence down there of several large civilizations that predated the Incas, Mayans and Olmecs

I'd rather discover the remnants of a lost and forgotten civilization wouldn't you?

Yes, if there ever was a cave, its possible occidentalism has overlooked the native american possible origins...

It is really very clear.
I have seen other pictures of different sites and I can not find anything that they say it is there even if I stay looking at it for some minutes lol.

AS I mentioned, ("Reply of" Oct. 08,'06 09:07:04) this image is over 350' long !
It can only be seen from the air!
Being that, " how in the world ", could this have been made, w/o an AIRCRAFT!
AND!
Directions from someone viewing/directing from above !
I have a library of Treasure SIgns,
In none of them, is anything like this shown,
OR!
Mentioned!

Bill,
I believe if it was built by ancients, it was built to praise a higher power. Someone who would see it from the sky, before airplanes were built. I do believe ancient civilizations did build great things for their "Gods", including huge "pictographs" in the land.

It's incredible what humans can do given enough time, and back then all they had was time! :o

so if noone knows where it is who took the photo

I believe Bill either took the photo, or knows where it was taken. Doesn't mean he's going to tell you though, or is obligated to do so.

Mercinarie:
"Where Is It!"

There are "rules", called "etiquette", in every professional endeavor !
This applies in particular, and, especially to one like..
Treasure Hunting, Prospecting , etc...
"We, They" are by their very nature, SECERTive and a person does not just ask ...
"Where is it"
Would the "Dutchman" tell anyone who just asked,.
" Where it is? " (referring to his gold mine )
These sites are involved in "TREASURE" ! $$$$
Meaning, hopefully, to the person, recovery of a large treasure!
To just ask, "Where is it" !

ETIQUETTE

Why would a person, wish to reveal the location or a clue, to his treasure location to just! any and everyone who asked?
The person has more than likely worked hard to find this clue or location !
And!
You're asking him, to just "tell me" !
Heck!
Saying, in effect....
Your (His!) efforts don't mean anything !
Well!
I have worked on a location for FIVE Years!
That's a lot of hiking, cold nights in camp, and in this case "Personal Danger" ! :o
You're saying....
That/this should count for nothing ?
And!
I should just tell anyone who asks, where I believe the treasure is ???
No!
I'm afraid....
The Rule Is ;;;;;
Don't ask!
If the person wishes/wants to reveal ANYTHING, he'll do it in his/her own time!
That person has for sure! time, effort and, money involved !
And! In this, case "Very Real! Personal DANGER"
AND!
Again! In this case, "The Loss! of a Very Close Friend & Companion!"
And!
You're asking for this information "FREE!" :-[

Re: CPTBIL's mention of Aztec pictographs in SE Arizona

ok first off dont assume what im saying because i was just asking a simple question which you could of said no to and thats that.

and second i wouldnt call it a location or a clue actually, more an opinion.

and finally why do you have to make things sound so dramatic.

Re: CPTBIL's mention of Aztec pictographs in SE Arizona

A photograph of an area, in which there are mountains in the background..
Is enough, for someone, who has been there, to the general area, 100's of miles, to identify that particular, area/site!
Or!
If I had mentioned that the "Fox" is on top of "Polles Mesa" , some "Smart" TH'er, ;D out there, is going to know exactly where that "Fox" Is located!
If ! ::)
If you're smart, You don't dare, give any infomation out!
Come on out sometime, you'll soon see what I am talking about!
