    Sending Packages to Iraq

Question: Can a care package be sent to a specific soldier if you are a relative of him, and have his APO addy? There seems to be conflicting information and just trying to get the correct way. I have a friend whose nephew is in Iraq and the friend wants to send a care package of things he requested to him. Is that permissible or not........

I don't see why not. Have others in the nephew's unit received packages as well? Your friend can call the post office or check the Department of Defense website.

Yes, if you have the correct address (APO Box), your soldier will get the package. It's taking an average of ten days for packages to reach those of us in Afghanistan.
